How to Choose a Redragon Gaming Mouse
Why choose Redragon
Redragon specialises in affordable gaming mice that pack RGB, programmable buttons, and capable sensors at prices well below premium brands. If you want strong gaming features without spending much, Redragon is a popular choice, with proven models like the M602 Griffin backed by tens of thousands of reviews.
Wired vs wireless
Redragon offers both wired mice like the M602 and M612 and wireless models like the M801 and M656. Wired keeps the price lowest and never needs charging, while wireless adds freedom of movement for a small premium. Choose based on your budget and desk setup.
Buttons and games
For most games, a standard Redragon mouse with a few extra buttons works well, while MMO players benefit from the M908 Impact’s 12-button side grid. Consider how many in-game actions you want mapped to your mouse when choosing a model.
Build and weight
Redragon mice use mostly plastic builds to keep costs low, which makes them affordable but less premium-feeling than high-end brands. Weights vary, so if low weight matters, check the model, and remember that at these prices the value is excellent even with a simpler build.
Software and RGB
Many Redragon mice include software for remapping buttons, setting DPI, and controlling RGB, though it is less polished than premium brands’ apps. If you want to customise your mouse, check that your chosen model supports software before buying.
